Ledgent Finance & Accounting is currently seeking a dedicated Collections Specialist to join a dynamic team in North Carolina. Responsibilities

• Researching invoices and discrepancies to ensure accurate billing and resolve issues promptly.
• Managing vendor relationships to maintain clear and effective communication channels.
• Handling high volume collections with professionalism and persistence to ensure timely payments.
• Performing various other accounting tasks to support the financial operations of the company.
• Collaborating with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Maintaining accurate and organized records of all financial transactions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in collections or a similar accounting role is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, during standard business hours. The position requires a first shift schedule.

Benefits

The position offers a competitive pay range between $25.00 and $27.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The role involves around 0% travel time, providing stability and consistency.
